The City University of New York put on the first New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival and Conference, April 2-4, 2009 at the Graduate Center, 365 Fifth Avenue, and at other locations in New York City. A program of concerts, papers, demonstrations and other events included works by several Kyma users including Fred Szymanski, Yuri Spitsyn, and Steve Everett.
