Kyma used in: course work, studio time, student performances, research

Degree programs in Music Theory, Music Composition at the undergraduate and graduate degree levels.

A course in Electronic Music Workshop is required of composition majors but is available to other students. Kyma forms the basis of study in sound design and electronic music in a fully equipped studio environment. Emphasis is on concept development, individual studio time, and close supervision.

The Lionel Hampton School of Music is a traditional program stressing music composition and performance in a context of a well-rounded liberal arts program.
