I am searching for ways to implement a structure generator based on rules or even more complex AI or neuronal network principles.
Has anyone shed light onto this path yet?

Here's an idea for a Script that builds Sounds using simple rules and a random number generator. You can download the example from Share.Sounds and let me know what you think.
