![]() ![]() ![]() I often find myself using a laptop with Kyma and having all those cables always made me feel restrained and terrified of unplugging the troublemaker FW800. So I wonder... Would it be possible to connect the computer to the Pacarana over wifi? I am afraid not, but maybe if the Ethernet port were to be connected to a wifi router with the due programming it might work. Streaming the compile command one way and the audio stream the way back? Even just the compile part would do just fine. Any thoughts? T IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Current wi-fi does not have reliable enough high-speed bandwidth. But maybe this will start to become better in the future? In the meantime, have you looked into the Sonnet Technologies Yin Yang (400/800) FireWire minihub? Connecting a Yin Yang to your laptop would mean you would not have to daisy-chain FireWire through either the audio interface or the Paca(rana). IP: Logged |
