![]() ![]() ![]() hi! a little explanation please ... if I want to know the durations for some sound in real-time terms, but in correlation to given bpm ... lets say, the durations of crotchet in 100 bpm is 100 bpm s = 0.60000001430512d s so duration of the whole note (or one bar in 4/4) will be but, what if I want to have duration for 1/5 of the bar (or 1/13, 1/21 ...) I tried with ((100 bpm s)*4)/5 = 0.48000001144409d s is this the way to do it? thanx! also, I hope that everybody is eating sweets, and generally enjoying in season's treats I wish you all a very Kyma and happy and successful 2012. ss IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() quote: Yes, this would give you 1/5 of the bar duration. If you want to derive the BPM from rate of triggers (the rate of KeyDowns, for example), you could use: !KeyDown durationBetweenTriggers s bpm removeUnits Happy New Year! IP: Logged |
