![]() ![]() ![]() I'm trying out the Max Flame object for the first time but I can't seem to get it working! I'm probably doing something wrong... As far as I understand it, by simply using the object in Max I should receive MIDI in Kyma right? But when I go to DSP > Configure MIDI > MIDI Messages (in Kyma), no data is received... I have set the arguments correctly in Max. What am I doing wrong? Thanks! [This message has been edited by JackRosete (edited 18 June 2006).] IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() They don't come in as midi messages, they come in as !cc00 - !cc127 messages (and have better resolution than midi, I believe). The second inlet/arguement on the flame~ object sets the number of the controller. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks I managed to get it working! Is there a way to make the !cc communication bidirectional with Max? Jack IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I am using a MIDI Output Controller to send my control data back to Max via a physical cable for now... Would be great if there was a Flamereceive object! IP: Logged |
