Author | Topic: dual inputs in timeline track |

![]() ![]() ![]() Say I want to use a two-input sound (e.g. a vocoder) in a Timeline. I want one input to be live and the other to come from another track (submix). How do I do this? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() You could use a GenericSource set to Live as the live input. Or use an AudioInput set to a channel *other* than channel 1 (since the track input will substitute for AudioInput 1). That way the track input can come from your submix, and the live input is built into the sound already. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() O.K., now suppose I want to route audio from two different tracks into a third track with a vocoder in it. (Instead of one input being live.) Is there a way to do this? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() "O.K., now suppose I want to route audio from two different tracks into a third track with a vocoder in it. (Instead of one input being live.)" You can route the output of two tracks to the same submix and bring that in as the input to the Vocoder track but it would be the mix of the two audio signals. Best way to get two *different* signals in there is to put one of them directly into the signal flow diagram and route the other one in the Timeline. IP: Logged |
