Hi all,

just wondering - if you use the "Documentation" entry in the file menue it takes you to the "GettingStarted.pdf" - can I change that?? I really want it to tak me to "Ezpressions Quick Reference" and sometimes the body of the manual - seems like something that would be great to be able to change in the preferences?? Could that be possible?? Is it an entry in a text file at the moment that I could edit???

You could rename the .pdf files. In other words, change the name of the file you *want* to open first to be the current name of the file that *does* open first now. (It's something like "start here.pdf" but that's just off the top of my head so you should look at the files to get the exact name).

Thanks - I have done that -= initially I tried making an alias to the documentation which I moved to another HD dedicated to Kyma, but that wouldn't work, so in the end I copied the document I wanted back into the Documentation folder in the root directory and renamed it. So for now I have a work around, but I thought it might be possible for you to inplement a selectable item in the preferences, much like the frequently used folder options??

Just a thought

I´m not able to open anything from the "documentation" from kyma,
nothing, no pdf´s, no files whatsoever since the only filetype
available is "application"..??
I can of course open the pdf files from within explorer but not
from kyma.
They are in the correct folder.
What is wrong?

You're right, I just tried and I can't open the documentation from within Kyma either. Nothing happens when I select documentation from the file menu. I'm using a G3 ibook running OSX 10.3.8.

Which version of Acrobat Reader do you have installed?

On the PC, it might ask you to locate Acrobat Reader first. Then it will open the documentation index.

all the documentation again!!!!

Thanks, we are going to change that so you won't have to locate Acrobat Reader (starting with the next update to Kyma)
