![]() ![]() ![]() Q: is there any possibility to write just a small part of the memory being reseverd in one memory writer sound? i experience that as soon you make trigger positiv it records all the "CaptureDuration"... would be nice to have the functionality of DiskRecorder, but instead record to ram... of is there a workaround? thanks IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Maybe you could get around this by only playing *back* the small portion that you are interested in? In other words using loop start and end on the Sample to select a small portion for playback (even if the full recording is longer). IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() what i wanted to achive is: feeding differents styles, tempi, ... of music into ONE memorySampleFile and then select randomly . so i have to fill the ram with different portions. but this is not possible due to the functionality of MemoryWriter which does not allow gated recording... m IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() You could use several MemoryWriters, one for each style and for playback you could randomly choose between the recordings using a MultiSample... IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() you might want to look into Green Tea Software's Looper Contsruction Kit... i own this.. but have not yet really delved into it... there is, however, a prototype called GatedMemoryWriter... maybe this would do what you're looking for...? maybe their website could answer your question.... greenteasoftware.com taylor.
