![]() ![]() ![]() Hi. Are there any other places to get patches for the kyma? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() You might want to make sure to check out all of the 1000 sounds in Kyma5. The main idea with kyma is that you are the sound designer. I have found that just slightly changing a parameter or sound source from a sound in the library gives me something interesting and hopefully musically inspiring. For me, some very useful sounds/processing can be gotten from fairly simple but unique configurations. Don't hesitate to play around. If you don't understand certain aspects of DSP, there are many books (some more readable than others) that can be gotten from the library (or inter-library loan). Check out the list in the big Kyma manual. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I have looked at many of them. Alot of which dont work because I dont have enough dsp cards. Anyway, I like to see what others do and how they do it. Ever used reaktor? On their site they have a user library where people upload their patches. This is great because you can learn from other peoples work. Like how to save cpu and such. Or diffrent methods of doing things. IP: Logged |
