Ok this is a problem I've been having for a while now but I've been so busy making weird nosies with my Kyma that it has taken until now to post a message!!

I am working with timelines very often, when I drop a new sound into the timeline all of its controls are merged into the timeline surface. Is there a way to stop this because I now have a surface with over 100 controls?

Also can anyone suggest a way to filter the CC messages from all 16 channels using a timeline. I guess it would need a way to make the sound receive midi on all channels, any ideas?

And finally can someone let me know if Project X as well as adding widnows XP support will fianlly give us windoze userz an ASIO ;-)

Regards

Best way is to select a different layer of the VCS using the drop-down menu at the upper right of the VCS. Each of your Sounds will have its own control layer. The next time you play the Timeline, it will default to showing the last selected layer.

The only way I can think of is to add 16 hot values together and then use the Timeline to map each of them to a different MIDI input channel. (not a great solution but all I can think of at the moment)

We'd like to get Project X out the door first and then tackle the ASIO-like behavior.
