Can anybody recommend an interface for Kyma which has a frequency response down to 0hz?

Hi Mathis

Do you really want to fry your speakers?

I've heard rumors that the MOTU does (on the inputs at least) but you will need to verify this.

Regards Pete.

As far as we know, all MOTU FireWire interfaces with 1/4" TRS jacks are DC coupled. On some models, the internal high pass filter DSP processing may need to be turned off.

Hi Mathis
That fan speaker is a good idea. Is it usable in the nomal audio spectrum or mid range. Theoreticaly you could get more output sound power than the watts in your driver amp as it has it's own inherant gain.

May be a baby version could be used to give a lap top with it's own built in PA system.

If you had one with propellors sized half, quater, eight, sixteenth etc of the radius, then switching each ones state independantly could give a true digital speaker.

if you already have an audiointerface with ADAT outputs you can use this one too...http://www.expert-sleepers.co.uk/es3.html

all the best
Chris

p.s.: if kyma would support more then 8 seperate outputs channels i already would have bought one of these for my kyma setup.

yes, thanks, I thought about that, as well. It just isn't exactly practical mechanically and electronically. But I have it in mind.
