![]() ![]() ![]() OK - here is a totally dumb question, but I can't seem to figure it out: I have a MotorMix on order and it occurred to me that there is only one set of MIDI IO on the Capy. How do I use a keyboard when I'm using a MototrMix with the Capy? TIA, Mike IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() My solution has been to use a pair of midi merge boxes between the MotorMix/Capy/Midi TimePiece. Up side -- the MM is dedicated to Kyma and is invisible to the rest of the sytem Down side -- the MM is invisible to the rest of the system. If anyone has an easy solution to using the MM with Kyma (more or less live) while also using it as a control surface in Logic (simultaneously live), I'd be happy to hear it! cheers, IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Old standalone midi processor such as DigitalMusic Corp MX8 can be found for 50-75$ and allow midi merge/filtering/process... You can also use any USB Midi patch bay such as Midiman(M-audio) Midisport serie. All you need then is a n applet such as midi-ox: it's a pc freeware that allow extensive handling of midi data, filtering, channelizing, transposing, name it! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks, All. I've decided to use my Oxygen8 - it's USB. That in combo with MID-OX ought to do the trick... IP: Logged |
