I am successful using the Capybara/Flame combination as a Core Audio soundcard, provided I restrict sampling rate to either 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz. Any attempt to use 88.2 kHz or 96 kHz is greeted by Audio MIDI setup going into the BBOD.

Has anyone been successful using the AV/C support at 96 kHz?

My system configuration is a Mac Pro 2.8 GHz dual quad core running OSX 10.5.6.

Thank you!

Doug

pretty sure the AVC doesn't support those sample rates. i remember that as a limitation at one point. the current documentation doesn't seem to say one way or another.

Right, the Flame has an upper limit of 48 kHz.

Thanks folks! Now I can quit chasing my tail :-)

I assume that this is also the maximum sample rate when using the Capy as I/O for the Pacarana.

Thanks again.

Hi Doug,

Yes, unfortunately sending audio through the Flame is the bottleneck in both configurations.
