Author | Topic: Problem with selecting outputs |

![]() ![]() ![]() I'm having difficulty with Kyma X on XP with choosing the speakers, or should I say selecting outputs. My setup is: I have analog outs 1-6 going to a 5.1 amp, and outs 7-8 going to the input of a mixer. I wish to use the speaker placement option to select which outputs I'm using at any given time. When I use the preferences and tell it I want only 7 and 8 to be used as left-front and right-front, the output sounds played with the sound browser always go to 1 and 2. This ignores the preferences. Sounds played with the timeline seem to recognize the preferences. What do I need to do to get this to work universally? Thanks... IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() At this time, Sounds played anywhere other than the timeline ignore the Speaker Placement settings. Sounds in the timeline always pay attention to the Speaker Placement. For now, perhaps you can wire the stereo monitoring to 1 & 2 and put the surround onto 3-8? IP: Logged |
