![]() ![]() ![]() In The Guardian newspaper today is an article about a Continuum-like keyboard - read all about it here: http://www.theguardian.com/business/2014/nov/30/the-innovators-rubber-piano-playing-different-groove#show-all You will notice that the Continuum is mentioned a couple of times in the comments section. ![]() ![]() ![]() Roger Linn also gave this idea a thought and came up with the great idea to add visual feedback/guidance. http://www.rogerlinndesign.com/linnstrument.html This should make it easy to learn different scales etc. I think the original Continuum, despite of having tons of other features... has also still the focus on the most important features: it feels very natural, has a large play surface with excellent haptics and high precision tracking in all directions(X,Y,Z).
all the best p.s. The Seaboard seams to be easier to learn for piano players then the Continuum because of the "rubber keys". But it is also somehow a bit more "fixed" to the classic 12 tone per octave tuning because of that. [This message has been edited by ChristianSchloesser (edited 08 December 2014).] IP: Logged |
