Hello,

I have difficulties to branch out Sounds, that is to use one Sound as the source for several other Sounds in the patch editor. Most of the time, the Sound is just copied with all the parent sounds, which makes the patch really complex, as it starts to be filled up with redundant modules.

I must say that after one year of using Kyma, I still have a really hard time using the patch editor with the automatic wiring up of modules. Most of the time I have to find work-arounds to do what I want, especially when replacing modules or modifying a patch. Some times this automatic feature is convenient but very often it would be SOOOO much faster and efficient to drop a sound on the patch editor and wire things by hand.

Apart from that, I really love Kyma, of course ;-)

Hold the Option (or Control on Windows) when dragging a Sound in the editor to use the exact same Sound instead of a copy of the Sound. If you are using copy/paste, choose Paste Special rather than Paste to paste the exact same Sound instead of a copy of the Sound.
