I'm wondering whether there is any way to make the GraphicalEnvelope available within the VCS for realtime editing?

you should be able to use hot values in each of the fields, i use that module regularly with hot values.

oops sorry, correction, i use the multisegment envelop prototype - very similar but it uses breakpoints values and durations of the segments
