Hi,

After making changes to the VCS of a timeline, I am unable to save (or "save as"). I get the message "ERROR: This message is not appropriate for this object."

I seem to be able to save after making other types of changes (moving sounds in timeline, changing parameters in sounds).

Any ideas, or should I send you the timeline in question?

thanks,
Phil

Hmmm, it seems that after compiling again, I can save, and the problem with the timeline seems to have gone away. Mysterious.

[Edit - spoke too soon - the problem is recurring, and I'm not sure what's causing it or what exactly fixes it when it crops up. I've even tried to delete everything and then save under a new name, and get the same error]

Phil, could you please set Stack Traces to Allowed (in the Miscellaneous Preferences) and then, when you get the error, check the Stack Trace button. Please copy the trace and email it to us. It's ugly, but it might give us a clue as to where the problem is ocurring. Thanks!
