Recording a wav file at 24 bits results in a file of full volume random (?) noise. 16 bits works fine. Aiff files record fine in 16 or 24 bits. All my attempts are at 44100 Hz. I have verified this several times. My Kyma version is up to date.

This has been fixed for the Capybara-LS and Capybara-320. Unfortunately, there is not enough program RAM on the Capybara-33 or Capybara-66 to implement 24-bit WAVE file recording and playback.

Watch for the fix in the next update we post to the web site.
