Hi,

I'm looking to crossfade between four LFOs using the Wacom, with each LFO placed in a different corner. What would be the easiest way to approach this?

One approach might be to use the PresetSpace on a Mix of your four LFOs (each with its own independent Level control in the Envelope field). Actually this method could give you a mix of 8 vertices of a cube if you'd like to use the Z pressure from the tablet as a third dimension.

Play the Mix and save 4 (or 8) presets for the levels, one corresponding to each corner of the square (or each vertex of a cube). The first 8 presets are arranged such that they map to the corners of a cube in X, then Y, then Z order or 3d points: (0,0,0) (1,0,0) (0,1,0) (0,1,1) (1,0,0) (1,0,1) (1,1,0) (1,1,1).

Once you've saved the presets you can play the Preset Space and map its X, Y, and Z to !PenX, !PenY, and !PenZ.

Another way might be to use an Interpolate with two Interpolates as inputs:
The first Interpolate would have LFO1-->LFO2 (control !PenX).
Second Interpolate would have LFO3-->LFO4 (also with control !PenX)
Feed those two Interpolates into another Interpolate (control !PenY).

The Interpolate way is probably easier than the PresetSpace.
You could also try substituting Crossfades for the Interpolates (to try constant power fades).

Hi SSC. I like the sound of the preset space option, haven't used it enough and this sounds like the right time!
