I got interested in the unique waveforms that could be created using the iterated waveshaping example included with the Kyma 5.2 sound file. I tried fine tuning the waveforms and used a low pass filter to smooth some of the harshness. A hp filter is used to correct the DC offset on many of the presets. Playing this on a keyboard reveals some interesting phenomena that is not evident with the static sound. I really like some of the presets. Of course, everything sounds better with a generous helping of reverb added to the output.
