![]() ![]() ![]() Hi - I initially had some trouble getting Kyma to start and sent an email to info-kyma, but I've solved that problem. I had actually copied the Kyma X.exe file to the desktop instead of making it a link to the real thing. I'm guessing the copy could not find its resources and simply bailed. Even when customers say they have followed instructions 'to the letter', I'm sure you know that they have followed the instructions 'in spirit'! Anyway, (almost) all is good (Kyma dumps when I quit and doesn't save preferences - should I send the error message?). I'm hooked up with a MIDI controller and a mic and having a blast going through the Sounds and tweaking. Real soon now I will start being more deliberate about the exploration. In the meantime, I'm having too much fun. Thanks, and I will talk to you all soon! Mike IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Welcome aboard! As a basic Capy320 newbie (2 months) I can warn you; you may loose some friends because of SSC! Addiction is something you can't prevent. P.S. go to Kyma Sound Exchange category and grab everything you can! [This message has been edited by KX (edited 20 September 2003).] IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() quote: Thanks! One of the rasons I chose Kyma was the cool community. Very helpful and welcoming. I figured out my problem, and once again it was pilot error. The shortcut I made pointed to D: which is my CD/DVD player. Doh! Anyway, fixed it and got the GreenTea LCK working, too. I wish I could post MP3s to show everybody that they too can be an Eagle. I used the chorf maker and a little EuroVerb for that California folk rock sound. Too bad I don't know the lyrics! Mike IP: Logged |
