It's HERE! - My Pacarana with memory expansion, rack ears, expresso mug and backup t-shirt.

It has actually been a couple of days. I literally run home from work during my lunch hour to explore the new possibilities. I keep forgetting to eat.

I know I am moving from an unexpanded 320, but my goodness... THE POWER!.

It was so easy to create the Pacabara!

FIrstly I played back a timeline of elements that would not play live on my 320, I un-cached' everything, hit play, it only registered one segment of one DSP. HURRAH! (had given up on this project as was so bored of the multiple levels of caching. )

It does sound different, cleaner, more defined and solid.

My next thought was to scroll the library looking for all the patches that I previously had to avoid. (4)(8)(22) etc. What Fun!

Was great to hear all the long cross filter stuff. (many things have just not been worthwhile pursuing)

I'm With Dennis... The unit is smaller than I imagined. (not sure what I was expecting).

The effort with the display and it's functionality has been well worth it.

OMG I just discovered the 'on display' midi activity! Awesome.

The expresso mug is splendid. It was this particular item that brought the bigger reaction out of my wife. She was concerned that it would encourage further late night kyma binges.

Oh Yes. Fear The Repligation.

Nice!!!

What's a Pacabara? Using the Capybara as the audio interface for pacarana?

Can't wait to see what patches come out of this.

Congratulations Charlie! I do agree that the sound of the Pacarana is more refined in a good way, and I did exactly the same: listen to all the sounds that wouldn't play back on my 2-card Capy.

That stupid grin I mentioned in the other post is still sticking...

I think you have to order them separately, I'm pretty sure they're not complimentary

Just above the Kyma X Book towards the bottom.

I always thought that the 'buy the manual now and get the money off a new system later ' deal was an awesome way to do it.

I now have two copies in my possession, maybe it is a sign from the kymaHivemind Charlie - You haven't paid enough attention to the Sacred Scaletti Scrolls. Go forth and bathe in the knowledge. ( & stop pestering us on the forum)

Lets face it, if you don't have the expresso mug and at least one t-shirt; YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!

I'm off to start at the beginning of Kyma X Revealed again. Lets see if I can't take in a little more this time.
