![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, I just bought a used Capybara 320 with 4 expansion cards and Firewire interface, but I have a problem with it. (I think) I successfully installed the drivers in my Win 8 PC and I'm able to open the Kyma x software. It loads the Capybara, but the only sound I can hear is a sort of Hi-passed noise. I hear just that noise also when i load a patch and I play it (I see output meters moving). Moreover the Capybara often disconnects himself and the program gives me an error message and in my firewire interface the "Kyma" led still remains switched off. I'm shure that my wiring is ok, I can't understand what could be the problem. Can you help me please? Thank you IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() You say the LED on the FireWire interface is not lighting up. How about the LED on the external power supply that feeds the FireWire interface? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() sorry, offtopic but this is the confabulation section anyway. Why did you buy a used Capybara nowadays? You can't upgrade anymore and it's outdated (although still a nice DSP). I suggest you get a Paca(rana) ![]() IP: Logged |
