 Pacarana not being assigned IP address

Hi, I am trying to set up Kyma Control but the Pacarana's IP address remains "unassigned" (as seen from the Help menu on the front panel). I know the connection is good because I am interneting and writing via the same ethernet cable right now Any tips or suggestions? Thanks. IP: Logged |

Is your Pacarana connected to your Wi-fi router via an Ethernet cable plugged into the Ethernet port on the back of the Pacarana? IP: Logged |

No, the ethernet cable is coming from the port on the back of the Pacarana into a powerline extension (extends the LAN via the electric). I assume that's the problem, yeah? Why does my laptop get an IP though? [This message has been edited by speedo (edited 07 March 2015).] IP: Logged |

Could you please take the cable you have connected to the Pacarana, plug it into your laptop, save the System Information and send it to us in an email? Sounds like the Pacarana is not getting to a DHCP server. Thanks! IP: Logged |

Suddenly it worked today - not sure what I did. Perhaps it was the start up, plug in sequence. I'll repost my solution when I have nailed it down. IP: Logged |
