rafe Member	posted 27 April 2008 02:54 hopefully this means no one has experienced any difficulties. Does ssc have a list of tested or recommended expresscard models as i would prefer to use the system fwport for drives and an expresscard dual 400 for the capy and fireface. thanks rafe IP: Logged

rafe Member	posted 29 April 2008 11:28 thanks ssc For mac users Info - apple shipped mabooks, macbook pros, and some imacs between nov 07 and feb or march 08 with lucent/agere fw chipsets and many audio forums and video forums that rely on the fw400 connection are reporting difficulties with those models. fortunately not all units shipped with that chipset. the TI chipset works fine. happily mine was a ti fw chipset.
