![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, I'm trying to integrate a Lexicon reverb unit into my Kyma system to take some of the strain off my Capy. I'd like to send outputs 3&4 to the Lexicon and return through inputs 3&4. Anyone doing this sort of thing? Cheers, IP: Logged

Yes, I have been doing this for sometime. At first I thought that I could design reverbs but found out that good ones were not only complicated but used proprietary data and techniques. I settled for a M3000 from TC Electronics. When SS expanded the capabilities of I/O 3/4 [maybe a year ago] they offer some sound files for using multiple I/Os. One of those was called "Send To". You simply checked the channel that you wanted to use as an insert. Multiple channels were ok as the sent signal would return on the same channel [such as using 3 and 4.] This way all sound came through the Capy D/A and could be processed further if desired. I noticed that Kyma five does not have the "Send To" module. It seems to interfer with the timeline capabilities. When I use a timeline I don't use the Send To but instead I send the sound out 3 and 4. Then I set up a channel input on two additional tracks, one for 3 and one for 4 and set their outputs for channel 1 and 2. Hope that helps. Sincerely, John Cowan IP: Logged
