Hi,

According our lead research scientist, with our previous setup (Capybara and PC w/ Windows XP), using the Generic Source, we were able to get the delay between mic and headphones down to 3ms.

Now, using Paca, Konnect-8, and a Mac running OS X 10.5.7, and the Generic Source sound, there is an audible delay between the mic and headphones. The setup at the moment is Konnect8 to Paca to Mac, and Konnect8 has been configured as specified in the Kyma on-line docs. Kyma's preferences have been set to 3ms as well.

Any theories on where this delay might be coming from?

Thanks.

There is some delay due to transferring data over FireWire and the buffering on the Konnekt. Which version of Kyma are you using? There have been improvements in the most recent versions.
