![]() ![]() ![]() I have a public show coming up that is taking snapshots of live data and generating sounds from it. There are about 6 floating point and integer values per snapshot that I can use. I want each snapshot to act as a 'profile' for a sound's initial state and then it progresses musically until another 'profile' alters its behavior. I'm thinking some sort of cellular automata as one idea. I'm wondering if there are any scripts or already built sounds that I could check out for some more inspiration - preferably something with some deterministic, musical principles or mapping. Has anyone done anything in Kyma with cellular automata? At this point, I'm open to anything, so other ideas are welcome. I would search the forum, as I'm sure this has already been discussed.
