That's a really good suggestion about the hub! Thankyou I would like to find a rack mountable FW though. Little desk, many boxes.

I unfortunately at the moment have to connect 400 to 800 as I currently have KYMA on an older MacBook. Do you think this is why I very occasionally get a a very quick high level noise spike?
