The versions of the Capybara are:

• Capybara (original): up to 8 20 MHz 56001 DSPs, 768K sample RAM per DSP, stereo analog 16-bit balanced I/O (11.025, 12, 22.05, 24, 44.1, 48 KHz sample rates), MIDI in/out/thru

• Capybara-33: up to 8 33 MHz 56001 DSPs, 768K or 3M sample RAM per DSP, stereo analog 16-bit balanced I/O (11.025, 12, 22.05, 24, 44.1, 48 KHz sample rates), MIDI in/out/thru

• Capybara-66: up to 8 66 MHz 56002 DSPs, 768K 3M, or 12M sample RAM per DSP, stereo analog 16-bit balanced I/O (11.025, 12, 22.05, 24, 44.1, 48 KHz sample rates), optional digital 24-bit I/O (32, 44.1, 48 KHz sample rates), MIDI in/out/thru

• Capybara-LS (also known as Capybara-320A): up to 16 80 MHz 56309 DSPs (8 Capybara-320 expansion cards), 24M sample RAM per DSP, stereo analog 16-bit balanced I/O (44.1, 48 KHz sample rates), optional digital 24-bit I/O (32, 44.1, 48 KHz sample rates), MIDI in/out/thru

• Capybara-320: up to 24 80 MHz 56309 DSPs (12 Capybara-320 expansion cards, plus 4 DSPs on motherboard), 24M sample RAM per DSP, four or eight channel analog 24-bit balanced I/O (about 20 different sample rates ranging from 32 to 100 KHz), four or eight channel digital 24-bit I/O, MIDI in/out/thru, word clock and house sync in, LTC and VITC time code inputs and outputs

Approximate performance comparisons (relative to the original Capybara) of fully loaded systems:

1 Capybara (original)
2 Capybara-33
5 Capybara-66
25 Capybara-LS
44 Capybara-320

All Capybara versions except the original Capybara can run Kyma.5.
