![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, I have a bug in a sound that I'm developing that seems to be related to something I've noticed about the way the Analog Sequencer starts up. Rather than give you my sound-in-progess, I can illustrate it with one of the prototypes: 1. Open and launch the prototype in the strip called simply "Analog Sequencer." When I do this at home, I hear that the sequence isn't starting with the step that "P1" refers to (which should be the 0 step). Instead, I don't hear the different note until the rest of the sequence plays out. Am I misunderstanding something about how this should work, or have I found a bug? Phil IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Interesting. It seems that the result depends on whether you have a hot value in the first duration slot. We are investigating why this might be. In the meantime, you may be able to work around this by using constants or expressions in the first slot of the Durations field (rather than !HotValues). Thanks for finding this. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() OK, it has been fixed. It had to do with initializing the values before the Sound started up. (Coming soon to a download near you...) IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I'll send you the sound I'm working on a little later today. It seems like the pitches and the rhythms are in different places in the first cycle through the sequence (the rhythm starting on 0, but the pitches starting on 1), but then it is corrected the first time it loops. It seems to only happen this way if the sequencer is already playing when the sound launches. If it is gated after the patch is loaded, it seems okay. IP: Logged |
