i very much would like to have an exponential amplitude envelope in the posted sound. but using the "exponential" wavetable in an functionGenerator gives me very different results compared to the sound using a hanning window for fading. what is there a difference in kyma between wavetables for windowing and controlling? ->m IP: Logged

![]() ![]() ![]() The Exponential table starts at 0 and ends at 1, while the Hanning window table starts at 0, goes up to 1, and returns to 0. To see the shape of a wavetable, ctrl-click on the disk icon next to the parameter field containing the file name. IP: Logged

![]() ![]() ![]() hm, i put the function generator with the exponential wavetable into a soundToGlobalControl object to see whats going on. most of the time it was near to one, just for very short time going down to almost 0. when i checked the reverse toggle it worked more as i expected. Going down from 1 rapidly and then being near 0 most of the time. maybe there is nothing wrong anyway, but it is not what i need, which is: with the trigger starting at almost 0 and then going up to 1 in an exponential way. is there a way to do this. SECOND: i have an object which goes into several others. now i want an new object between the first an the others. is there an easy way to insert the new objekt? a key kombination? thanx ->michael IP: Logged |
