Hey guys. I have my first patch in Kyma and played on a Snyderphonics Manta which is one awesome controller.

Here's the video. I'll share the patch shortly after cleaning it up a bit.

I still want to make improvements as well.

Cheers,
Chris

Ok, I've evolved the sound further to also incorporate Karplus strong style tubular resonance. Wheeee! Having fun now.

I thought I'd share the sound even though I still would like to evolve it and clean it up further.

I'll be sure to upload to wiki after I am more satisfied that it is ready.

Wow, what a rich sound! Have you ever experimented with sending the didgeridoo through the prototype called "Metal Plate ModalFilter". You'd have to be a little careful about not overloading it, but that might also give you some nice subtle metallic resonances along the lines of what you've been getting in this example.

This is a great sound!
I have spent a while experimenting with high feedback settings..

Thx, beginners luck.

Starting with something from my modular was a good reference for hearing how it should sound, then moving forward rather than starting with something I am totally unfamiliar with.

The BWOffset works well if start with BW at lowest, then automate BWOffset with aftertouch or something similar. I know what you mean about high feedback settings, you can really make it sound like a monster guitar feedback distortion sound at times.

This is really good work! I am new to Kyma and also one thing I wanted to do first, is redo a G2 patch/performance to compare (and expand, of course). I hope I can send something of quality when I'm done. But it seems that there are so many other things I have to try out first :-)
