shepardtonesoundswrong.aif

Hi SSC,

I was looking for some Shepard tone examples today and I couldnt find anything that sounded like what I remember.

Is anyone else getting this kind of result (attached) when they run the ShepardGlissando prototype?

Best regards,
Sean

It sounds ok when we try it here... Is it possible that your ramp wavetable has gotten scrozzled?

Hmm, didnt check that, silly me.
You are correct, its not a ramp waveform at all. When I shift clicked the disk icon to see the path to this 'ramp' file I get

c:\_Kyma\_SF\2007-8\The sky\ramp.aif

How could this have been altered in a prototype?

I've added the C:\Kyma\Waves to the frequently used directories in preferences and that seems to have done the trick.

Thanks SSC
