Had a breakthrough today. Using one of Edmund Eagan's sounds for the Continuum, adapted to the Eigenharp.

Hey!
really nice... i enjoyed the performance. Really cool combination Kyma and Eigenharp.
how did you manage to get the Keytimbre vs. Polyaftertouch problem to work?
All the best from Berlin

Thx. So here's how it works.

First of all, I abandoned Poly Pressure since I don't know how to make that happen in KYMA.

However, this new setup is maybe better anyway. I've never used multi-channel midi setups for poly data but that is exactly what was done here.

Basically take the MidiVoice and duplicate it and the entire sound structure as many times as we want polyphony. Reduce the polyphony of each voice to one. Put each voice on a separate channel. For me 2-7.

Now we have multi-channel monophonic.

In EigenD, you can choose to use a range of channels for multi-channel monnophonic as it were and map any controllers or key data to per-note information which appears on the channel that the note was triggered on.

In my global map I did the following.

!KeyVelocity is: `MIDIKeyVelocity.
!KeyTimbre is: `MIDIKeyTimbre.
!KeyVelocity is: ((`MIDIChannelPressure displayAs: #nothing) + 0.1).

You get a warning about KeyVelocity being mapped twice but I did this because as I understand it, the continuum sends velocity constantly and this is also what I wanted to do. Seems to work, but maybe there is possible improvement.

Now I feel like I can start exploring the continuum type sounds using the harp or creating special ones just for the harp.

If anyone is interested, I can upload the sound. I'll add something to the wiki when I'm done.
