Author | Topic: Values around a centre... |

![]() ![]() ![]() Howdy, I have a pan prototype with a value set by VCS fader. I'd like to use an lfo to provide some wobble around the centre value as set by that VCS fader. If I use + or - then the lfo is added to or subtracted from the VCS value, and I want the VCS value to be the centre, with the lfo wobbling around that… What's the right math for this? Or do I need a different approach? Thanks and wishing all Kyma users a great xmas and new year! Jack IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() The lfos seem to start at 270 degrees (and therefore only generate positive values), I'm guessing if I can start the lfo at 0 degrees, it would then generate both positive and negative values around the 0 centre…?? I prob need to use a different wavetable (it's currently set to Gaussian). Hhmmm, let me check! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Problem solved… Sine waveform is needed instead of gaussian for the LFO! [This message has been edited by JackRosete (edited 23 December 2014).] IP: Logged |
