![]() ![]() ![]() Greetings Kyma users I need to make some animals sing ( Bear, Wolf, Whale ..) on a Verdi Opera. Does someone have an idea of the best preset I could use ?

![]() ![]() ![]() I would try experimenting with the Tau editor. Drag the animal sample into the editor, save, and press the Galleries button. You could use !KeyPitch in the Frequency field of the TauPlayer to control the pitch of the resynthesis from a MIDI file or keyboard. (Which opera?) IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Good idea, I' ll try this tomorrow morning. Also, I was thinking recording my voice singing the lead melody and apply some cross synthesis on it with real animal sounds. What do you think ? the opera is there http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7K68tdN3fYw IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hello I tried the Tau editor and keyboard mapping, it sounds good but how do you implement a sort of legato/portamento ? I would like to change note without re trigering it from the beginning... thanks for your help ! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() If you use: Frequency field: !KeyPitch Trigger field: !KeyDown abs Then play one key on the keyboard and, without lifting your finger, add a second key. This will change the pitch without retriggering the file to restart at the beginning. If you never want to restart from the beginning, you could set Trigger to !KeyDown hasChangedReset: 0 This will start the playback on the first key down and ignore future key downs (except for the pitch).
