Hello Everybody... Currently my Capy receives Max/MSP over S/PDIF from a Focusrite Saffire. It sounds OK, but not so fresh (of course) as signal generated inside Kyma.

The documentation suggests using AES rather than S/PDIF. Does that mean it might be worth getting an external S/PDIF-AES converter? Hosa makes one, but maybe it would just duplicate something the Capy does anyway?

Hi,

If the Capybara is receiving the audio correctly -- i.e., no popping or dropping-out going on -- then a converter would have no audible effect.
