![]() ![]() ![]() HI all Just wanting to check something - I am recording a 5.1 timeline. I have the sub set to output 6 - however when I record the timeline to 6 files as I would expect, file 6 has signal up into 6K+ so I am wondering if this is correct or if I have done something wrong? I assumed the filed numbers align with the output numbers in the Loudspeaker setup? Cheers, Garth IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Ok - I did a test with different tones in different channels and that answered my question - yes it works as advertised. But I found another interesting thing. If I record to disk a SplitSurroundFilePlayer 5.1 as a sound it outputs 2 channels only (L, R) even though the preferences are set for 5.1 and I selected 6 channels for recording. When I put it in a timeline and set pan to sound internal it outputs 5.1 channels as expected IP: Logged |
