![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, wondered if there is a keyboard shortcut for changing pages in the virtual control surface? Best, flo IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Flo, You can use the shift key and the up and down arrows to change layouts on the VCS. I've been working with several layouts on the VCS myself lately, and I was wondering if it would be possible to automate the layout changes on the timeline, so that when you get to certain section you automatically get the layout that you designed for that section. That would be a really useful feature! Otherwise, if you have to hit something to release a wait until, and then find the proper layout on the list, sometimes you are already a few seconds into the section, and in some situations that can be a real drawback. This feature would be near the top of my Kyma wish-list right now! It would also be very useful to be able to arrange the different layouts by assigning them numbers (as with presets), or alphabetically. If that was the case it would be much easier to just use the shift key + arrows shortcut. Cheers, Hector IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() quote: I'm with Hector. This would be really useful, and is important to make timelines performance-friendly. Also useful for me would be to be able to zoom out more in the timeline (I'm currently working on a 6 hour timeline, and I can only see an hour or an hour and a half at a time, zoomed out as far as I can). And also a function that allows you to search for a hot value in your sound and gives you back a path that shows which modules contain that hot value (would be especially useful for timelines). This last is near the top of my wish list :-) Phil IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Phil, Have you tried the zoom-to-fit button on the timeline? That should allow you to see the whole timeline at once. H IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Hector, The zoom-to-fit gives me the same result - it doens't actually zoom out to see the whole timeline, and I can only see about an hour and twenty five minutes in a timeline on a single monitor. I just now set up dual monitors on my desktop (not especially for this task) and now I can stretch it across two monitors and see a bit over 3 hours. Anyway, this isn't crucial and could be filed under "would be nice it have, if it is not difficult to fix." Phil IP: Logged |
