Hi,
I have this sound with the file type .kyc
It was supposed to be a saved sound however it wont open. I tried the "compile, load start" function but all this doed is reinitialise the Capy.

If it is just a saved sound you should try changing the extension name to .kym and see if that works.

Hi Matt,
Did you create this file? It's a "compiled Sound" file; you can play those by selecting Play from the File menu (but you cannot open them). If you still have the original Sound file around though you can open and edit *that* one.

If it was compiled in a different version of Kyma or on a system having a different number of cards, then it won't play on your system.

It was made on my system, about a year ago. So it should theoretically work. I guess I just didnt save it properly

Matt, my guess is that you have updated your Kyma version a few times since last year (that could also prevent it from working). Maybe you could search for the name in case the original (from which this one was compiled) is still around as a .kym file.
