In the attached sound - I want to automate (without using the TimeLine) the GraphicEQ bands (Which I've done) but now I would like to smooth the transitions between steps. Andrew IP: Logged

![]() ![]() ![]() Could you instead do the smoothing where the value is *used* (rather than where you are generating the sequence of values)? In other words, if you are generating values for the amplitude of one of the bands of the graphic EQ you might have something like this in the ExtraValues field #(!CF250 0 0.5 1 0) Then, in the GraphicEQ in one of the parameter fields you might have !CF250 smooth: 2 s IP: Logged

![]() ![]() ![]() hi, i have downloaded your filter reverbs sound.. it's very nice!.. however, when i play the version with the sequencer, the VCS does not show any of the EQ bands, however, the GRAPHIC EQ 2 module clearly shows virtual controls being used... i get these controls when playing the regular EQ version, but not the sequenced version....... where are they?

I'm still having problems with the 'smoothing' of the EQ values. Attatched is a new version using 'smooth'. I've tried smooth by a certain value and also using 'smooth: (60/!BPM) s' If I smooth values in the vcs - should the widgets also smoothly move or should they still jump between values? Thanks, Andrew [This message has been edited by photonal (edited 16 October 2003).] IP: Logged

![]() ![]() ![]() The value (or "output") of the fader is smoothed...not the graphics. IP: Logged |
