![]() ![]() ![]() has anyone tried to create crowd footsteps sampling a few basic foley steps and scuffs and making a nice big crowd from it with grain synth? altering pitch and duration slightly? what are your experiences? Frank. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Well, I haven't made footsteps, but I have made some really good collages with voices - basically a murmuring crowd sound - using granulators. Use really long grain-times and set the density VERY low. (I learned this from the forum a couple of months ago.) IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() too bad that you can't modulate the sample playback rate for the sample cloud. then you can get some pitch variation in there too. i'd really like to see sample cloud marcus IP: Logged |
