![]() ![]() ![]() Is there any way to clear the contents of a MemoryWriter buffer? The only methods I have found are recording silence into it or initializing the DSP. Changing the name of the buffer won't do it. Neither will compiling a different Sound then going back to the original. Is there something I'm missing? I'd like to have a "pre-zero" option like the delay line has. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() You could zero all of memory by initializing the DSP. Otherwise, the only way of zeroing specific ranges of memory for now is to use a MemoryWriter to write zeroes into it. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I second this request as I find when playing gigs that I have to be very careful about the order of pieces due to glitches and unwanted sound at the beginning of a piece after using buffer recording earlier in the gig - I can not afford the time to reset DSP or record silences into buffers when compiling on stage as it breaks the flow of the gig. Cheers, Garth BTW we have a concert this Saturday in Sydney http://www.newmusicnetwork.com.au/ IP: Logged |
