![]() ![]() ![]() Hi all, I recently purchased a couple of Roland PD-7: Dual Trigger. Drum Pads off eBay - I thought I would input the trigger into Capy's audio ins and do Amplitude tracking to get the trigger - has anyone else done this before - are there any tricks to stop false triggers? The pads have not arrived yet, so I thought I'd do some research in this brain pool to see what people thought. Cheers, Garth IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() There are a lot of ways to do what you described ![]() The ideal Prototype for this would be Threshold. You can use Threshold in conjunction with an Amplitude Follower, and it has settings for threshold and hysteresis. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Yes Threshold with hysteresis is great advice. Also suggest trying the PeakTracker (in place of AmplitudeFollower) since you can control the response time to attacks vs decays independently of one another. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() great thanks - I am not sure yet what the output is on the digital drums - just assuming it is an audio signal - does anyone know? Anyone have experience with the Roland digital drums? I am looking at using the rate of percussive attaches (interonset time) to drive grainulation time and other variables rather than trigger samples as such IP: Logged |
