R Member	posted 04 November 2005 13:25             I need to get a new box for our capy . . . Anyone use a MAC MINI? Any issues we should know about? Any problems with a mini / capy + Wacom Intuos3? How is the performance? Thanks for your help. IP: Logged
jesges Member	posted 04 November 2005 16:59             Hi I have the MacMini, 1.45 GHz-80 GB and the Intuos 3. No problem with Kyma. Works very well. Sometimes the Mini switch on the fan, and it's a bit noisy. Jesus IP: Logged
SSC Administrator	posted 04 November 2005 17:10             If you create or modify a lot of files on the Mac mini, the Spotlight indexing starts eating up CPU time and disk bandwidth. If you can live without the feature, you can turn it off in the System Preferences for Spotlight. I tried this and noticed a vast improvement in speed. (This issue affects all computers running OS 10.4 and newer.) IP: Logged
