having owned both a waldorf microwave 1 and XT, i'm quite fond of wavetable synthesis

is it possible to do wavetable synthesis in kyma? to be able to scan through a sample with a slider, or via keytracking, or any other control... ?

Yes, you can find examples of this in the Kyma Sound Library in the Multiwave Synthesis files found in both the keyboard-controlled and background synthesis categories.
