Hi,

As I mentioned in another thread (about how long it takes to save large sound files), I have a large file that I keep for my custom prototypes. It seems to be necessary to have all your custom prototypes in a single file, because every time you open a new custom prototypes file, it replaces whatever custom prototypes were already in the prototypes bar.

My custom prototypes file is now 2.3 mb, and I'm having some problems with it crashing while it's opening (just happened, and I noticed a temp file was left behind, called "ZZZZkyma tempZZZZ").

Would it be possible to add a new open enable option or preference, which opens custom prototypes in the prototype bar without replacing the old ones? Or some other way to get around problems with having such large sound files?

thanks,
Phil

PS Also, is there a way to remove default/factory prototypes that I don't have a need for? My prototypes bar is getting crowded, but I find it's the best way to organize my sounds.

Please send us the file as an email attachment so we can see what is causing the problems.

Thanks!
